Welcome to Youth as Resources

Volunteer Opportunity: Youth volunteers and their adult leaders plan and implement projects that benefit Hancock County. Youth and adult action board members select project groups, do project site visits, assist with grant workshops, promote YAR, and plan events. Volunteer Time: Project groups - varies according to project. Board members - 6-8 meetings per year plus any special events. Mission Statement: Youth as Resources is a youth development program of United Way of Central Indiana  that provides small grants for groups of youth to identify community needs and design projects that use their skills, creativity, and energy to help others in the Hancock County community.
