- Backpack Attack: Sort, count and pack donated school supplies for Hancock County schools.
Volunteer Time:
- Annually, in early August
- Four to six hours

- Children under age 16 must be accompanied by a parent.

Volunteer Opportunity:
- Day of Caring provides an excellent opportunity for you to help non-profit agencies complete projects in Hancock, Hamilton, Boone, Hendricks, Marion and Morgan Counties. Day of Caring provides the following benefits:
- Team-building
- Improved morale among co-workers
- New relationships developed
- Learning about meaningful volunteer opportunities
- Spending quality time with family or friends while giving back to the community
Volunteer Time:
- August 28 and 29, 2009
- 4 to 8 hours
Volunteer Requirements:
- Varies according to work needing done by nonprofit organization. Examples include painting, landscaping, house cleaning, office work, interaction with clients, etc.
- Corporate teams are encouraged.
