Mission
The mission of Leadership Hancock County is to develop capable and motivated leaders to assume an active role in the growth, management, and success of our communities.
Purpose
• Identify, recruit, educate, and train potential community leaders from diverse backgrounds.
• Expose potential leaders to a variety of challenges and opportunities that exist in Hancock County.
• Foster an understanding of civic responsibilities and encourage active participation in the formation of solutions to community challenges.
• Provide a nonpartisan forum in which current and emerging community leaders can share views and open dialogue.
• Promote a network of relationships that facilitate the collaborative sharing of resources, information, and talents that will lead to an improved community.
