Welcome to Meals on Wheels of Hancock County

Volunteer Opportunity:
- Deliver meals to clients during the noon hour. Meals are picked up at Hancock Regional Hospital or Springhurst Health Campus. Detailed directions and delivery equipment (cooler and hot food bag) are provided.
Volunteer Time:
- Monday through Friday approximately 10:45 to 12:15
- 1 to 1 1/2 hours as little as once per month or as often as once a week.
- Greenfield routes take 45 minutes to 1 hour to deliver. Rural routes to McCordsville, Fortville, Wilkinson, East, South, New Palestine or Cumberland take 1-1 1/2 hours to deliver.
Volunteer Requirements:
- Valid driver's license; reliable vehicle with insurance; ability to work independently; knowledge and observance of traffic laws; friendly supportive attitude towards clients; ability to lift a small cooler
