The Leadership Hancock County class of 2009-2010 kicked off its leadership seminar with a two-day retreat Sept. 16 and 17 at Greenfield Banking Company. The 15 class members heard from a variety of community leaders on leadership topics and participated in a countywide scavenger hunt as a team-building exercise. The highlight of the retreat was a session led by Marianne Glick of Glick Training Associates on the DISC personality profile and how each class member's leadership style could most effectively interact in business and personal life. The class members will attend monthly leadership seminars and complete a community service project leading up to graduation in May.
