Welcome to the Hancock County Humane Society

Volunteer Opportunity: Play and socialize with the cats and kittens in our care! Help clean cages.  Volunteer Time: Depends on the volunteer; as little as one Saturday or Sunday a month, or weekly on a certain day (e.g., Tuesdays). Cages can be cleaned in one to two hours, depending upon the number of animals in our care. Volunteer Requirements: Volunteers may come into the shelter at any time during open hours to fill out an application. Men or women who love animals are welcome. Teenagers age 15 and up may work on Saturdays during our open hours.
