The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Hancock County is dedicated to improving the quality of lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness by promoting health and wellness through advocacy, education, outreach and support.
We hold Support Group meetings on the first and third Tuesdays of each month for people living with a mental illness, as well as their friends and family members. Twice yearly we hold Peer to Peer and Family to Family classes. As a volunteer based organization, all of our programs are free of charge. We also advocate for mental health issues and fight to end stigma against those living with mental illnesses.
